The Vivaz is really great phone for people why love to use their mobile for taking pictures (comes with 8.1 MegaPixels camera on board) or watch, record and share videos (it’s one of the first phones to support HD video recording). First impressions are that this is a very glamorous phone, with its embossed quilted back cover, crystal diamond button and pearl white finish … certainly appealing to the female and fashion conscious audience. The Diva’s price is also very reasonable as you’ll notice from comparing the contract and PAYG Samsung Diva deals.

Looking under the cover you’ll see that the Diva’s user interface also received a girls touch with women-centric themes and fonts, exclusive features (like a shopping list tool). The S7070’s camera is a 3.2 megapixel camera with various fun beauty editing features. Integration with social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace is also seamless, and instant messaging capability is also on board. This marks the end of the official exclusive O2 and Apple partnership which meant that the UK consumers wanting to get their hands on an iPhone were limited to a choice of 1 when it came to choosing their mobile network.

While no information is available on the pricing models Vodaphone and Orange are going to offer, in all likeliness this is going to be good news for the UK consumer, as more competition means the prices are bound to go down.
